About Heather
Hi, I’m Heather —
Founder of My Holistic Fertility
Most people expect me to have entered this work because of my own fertility struggles.
But my story is different — and it’s exactly why I built the practice I did.
I didn’t struggle to conceive — and I say that with a lot of gratitude, and a lot of awareness. I know if you’re reading this would give anything to have a healthy pregnancy. The only reason I mention my pregnancies here is because that’s where my journey into this work really began.
While getting pregnant came easily, what followed was anything but.
It was the experience of pregnancy — lonely, unsupported, and full of struggle — that became the catalyst for everything I do now.
At 22, I was living in Spain, in an abusive relationship, with no family nearby and no support.
I didn’t speak the language. I didn’t have access to the internet.
And I certainly didn’t have anyone to guide or advocate for me.
I was completely alone — isolated, afraid, and suffering from antenatal depression long before I even knew what that was.
Two years later, I became pregnant again. It was a physically and emotionally difficult pregnancy, with threatened miscarriage and being coerced into a birth I didn’t want. I know how fortunate I was to conceive — and I never take that for granted — but I went through it unsupported, alone, and unheard.
Shortly after, my best friend lost her newborn son due to negligent care during childbirth. She nearly lost her life too — and had to undergo a hysterectomy, ending her chance to have more children.
That loss — added onto my own experiences — became my turning point.
As a single mum with two young kids, I moved back to the UK and retrained as a midwife (which was the hardest thing I’ve ever done!), determined to become the kind of support I never had. But working as an NHS community midwife, I saw the cracks in the system up close — the gaps between appointments, the lack of continuity, the emotional toll of being passed from person to person with no one connecting the dots.
So I built what was missing:
A single, continuous thread of care.
Where every part of your story is held.
Where no symptom is dismissed.
Where clinical evidence and emotional safety are treated with equal weight.
Alongside my midwifery work, I went on to train as a nutritionist, reflexologist, life coach, and fertility awareness mentor — and, thanks to a healthy dose of imposter syndrome, I added quite a few more courses in women’s health, pregnancy, and fertility along the way.
Working with me, you get the knowledge, the tools, and the 16+ years of experience I’ve gained.
But the real difference isn’t what I know.
It’s how I use it — and why.
I support:
The women who’ve been told “everything looks normal” — when they know it isn’t.
The couples who’ve been told to “just try again” — without clarity, answers, or a plan.
The ones doing all the right things — and still feel stuck.
My clients choose to work with me because they’re tired of being passed between clinics.
Tired of repeating their story.
Tired of not being listened to.
They want clarity, care, and clinical intelligence — all in one place.
Someone who sees the full picture and knows how to act on it.
Someone who isn’t afraid to say:
“I don’t know — but I’ll find out.”
That’s the promise I make to every client:
If you’re trusting me with your fertility, I will not guess.
If You’re Here, I Want You to Know:
You’re not behind.
You’re not broken.
And you’re definitely not alone.
You don’t need more noise.
You need someone who can listen deeply, map what matters, and guide you with skill, care, and strategy.
If that’s what you’ve been looking for —
I’d love to hear from you.
Just in case being a midwife wasn’t enough, here’s a list of some of qualifications I gathered while trying to convince my imposter syndrome that I do actually know enough.

“I had a lovely experience with my fertility reflexology sessions. It helped me to relax and lose a lot of the stresses I was feeling when going through my fertility treatment. I always left feeling relaxed. I had three failed transfers before I decided to take the sessions with Heather, and I am now pregnant with twins. I had lots of thoughts about what I should and shouldn’t be doing. Heather gave me answers to all those questions and doubts which helped me so much. I would 100% recommend”.
“I was recommended to Heather after a failed IVF cycle which I had alongside acupuncture. Heather was great from the very first consultation, she helped immensely with my stress management, she guided me through my infertility journey and has been amazing. The result is that I am now pregnant, and I am really grateful to reflexology in the hands of Heather. I strongly recommend her to others trying to conceive as she has a wealth of knowledge and experience and is brilliant, Thank you so much”.
“”My wife came to Heather as she came highly recommended, she is professional friendly and gives great advice. She has now become someone my wife can confined in. She has years of experience as a midwife and me and my wife have found her so amazing whenever we needed advice”.
“So thankful to the lovely Heather for all her advice and help while trying to get pregnant. I saw her for 6 sessions of fertility reflexology, and I’m delighted to say I’m now 7 weeks pregnant. The treatments were tailored to my cycle and I found the whole process fascinating and very interesting. I had never had any form of holistic treatment prior to this. Heather is so knowledgeable; giving me diet and lifestyle advice to help me along the way. I can thoroughly recommend her”.
“Heather is very knowledgeable and as an experienced midwife, I felt I could really trust her advice and guidance. She also has a lovely and calming nature and answered every question I had with patience.”
“I find moxibustion treatments energising yet relaxing. I have noticed significant improvements in my menstrual cycle and already and find the advice and support Heather gives amazing. I feel so much better about my fertility since starting treatments”.
